Role Overview

Senior Principal Consultant Cyber Security

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned cybersecurity professional with strong expertise in security engineering, compliance frameworks, and enterprise security architecture. This role requires hands-on technical capability along with strategic decision-making skills to enhance and maintain a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level security solutions.
Lead security engineering initiatives across network, cloud, endpoint, and application security domains.
Implement and manage security controls such as:

Database security
Web content filtering
Anomaly detection & response
Vulnerability scanning

Work on VPN, firewalls, network monitoring, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), web server security, wireless security, and cloud security technologies.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory frameworks including:

ISO family of standards
HIPAA

Automate security tasks and streamline incident response processes.
Assess security risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business needs.
Deliver high-quality, prompt, and efficient security services to stakeholders.

Technical Skills Required

Strong experience in cybersecurity with prior experience in a security engineering role.
Expertise in one or more domains:

Network Security
Cloud-Native Security
Endpoint Security
Application Security

Hands-on experience with:

Vulnerability scanners
Network firewalls
Cloud-native security tools
Penetration testing frameworks

Strong knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements.
Experience with automation of security operations and response mechanisms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification preferred.
Strong decision-making and analytical capabilities.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in large enterprise or global environments.

Experience Required

10+ Years of experience in Cyber Security / Security Engineering.
Proven expertise in multi-domain security architecture and implementation.
