About the role
We are hiring a confident, English-fluent telecaller who can turn interest in vinyl and record players into confirmed orders. You will speak to music lovers, collectors and gifting customers, understand what they want, and guide them to the right record, player or bundle.
MMV is building a multi-label vinyl platform for India and the diaspora, from film soundtrack editions to turntables. This role sits at the front line of that growth: every call is a brand moment, and every conversion is revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Call and follow up with leads from ad campaigns, website enquiries, WhatsApp and abandoned carts who have shown interest in vinyl or record players.
- Hold clear, warm conversations in English (Hindi is a plus) to understand the customer's taste, budget and need: self-use, collection or gifting.
- Explain products accurately: vinyl editions, record players and turntables, speakers, accessories, pricing, delivery timelines and offers.
- Handle objections on price, trust, delivery and "is it worth it", and close the sale on the call.
- Share payment links and order details, and confirm COD or prepaid orders.
- Recover abandoned carts and follow up on warm leads until they convert or are clearly lost.
- Upsell and cross-sell: a record with a player, a gift bundle, a second title.
- Record every call, outcome and next step in the CRM or lead sheet, the same day.
- Pass on customer feedback, common objections and product requests to the Marketing team.
- Support order-related queries and escalate delivery or product issues to the right person.
What we are looking for
Must have
- 1–3 years of experience in customer calling, telesales or inside sales, ideally in D2C, e-commerce, music, electronics or lifestyle products.
- Excellent spoken English: clear, confident, natural and persuasive on the phone.
- Proven ability to convert leads into sales, with a record you can speak about.
- Genuine interest in music, vinyl or audio gear. You should enjoy talking about it.
- Comfort with CRM tools, Excel or Google Sheets, and WhatsApp for business.
- Patience, good listening skills and a polite, professional tone, even with difficult customers.
- Graduate in any discipline. Willing to work from the office Monday to Saturday.
Good to have
- Knowledge of record players, turntables, speakers or hi-fi audio.
- Hindi fluency, plus a regional language.
- Experience handling Customer queries confirmation and cart recovery.
- Experience with premium, gifting or collectible products.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
