Summary:We are seeking a Tester to support the API development workstream. The role requires strong software testing experience, hands-on expertise in REST API testing, and familiarity with Agile SDLC practices. The tester will ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of API-based solutions through structured testing approaches and automation. Roles & Responsibilities:?¢Define and execute test strategies, test approaches, and test plans for API-based solutions.?¢Create and maintain test cases, test data, and execute functional, integration, and system testing.?¢Perform thorough testing of REST APIs and validate request/response behavior.?¢Validate API integrations and backend workflows supporting the CDP platform.?¢Develop and execute automated API test scripts using Jest or similar frameworks.?¢Track, document, and manage defects using standard defect management tools.?¢Generate testing metrics and reports for management and stakeholder review.?¢Work closely with development teams to analyze defects and validate fixes.?¢Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.?¢Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards. Skills:

?¢Strong software testing experience.?¢Hands-on experience in API development and testing.?¢Expertise in REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus, but not mandatory).?¢Experience with Jest for Node.js testing and API test automation.?¢Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Node.js.?¢Experience working in Agile delivery environments.?¢Exposure to AWS cloud technologies.?¢AI prompting knowledge.?¢API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.?¢Experience with Azure DevOps.?¢Knowledge of data technologies such as PostgreSQL and GCP Big Query.
