1. Team Management: Supervise mechanics, technicians, and other staff. Allocate tasks and responsibilities based on skills and availability. Ensure that the team follows safety protocols and operational standards. 2. Customer Service & Interaction: Communicate directly with customers to understand their service needs. Provide cost estimates and timelines for repairs or servicing. Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Quality Control: Ensure that all repair work is completed according to manufacturer specifications. Perform inspections of the finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. 4. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the stock of spare parts and tools. Place orders for parts and equipment as needed. Maintain proper records of inventory and ensure efficient stock usage. 5. Workshop Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop. Oversee the scheduling of repairs, ensuring that jobs are completed on time. Ensure that all necessary tools and machinery are in working condition. 6. Training & Development: Train new technicians and staff on workshop procedures and standards. Keep the team updated on new technologies, vehicle models, and repair techniques. 1. Customer Engagement Greet and interact with walk-in customers, collect their details. Follow up with leads generated through online/offline campaigns. Handle customer inquiries (phone, walk-ins, website, WhatsApp, social media, etc.). Ensure smooth test ride experiences and post-test ride follow-ups. 2. Lead Management Maintain a lead management system (CRM software or Excel-based). Allocate leads to the sales team and track follow-ups. Monitor cold, warm, and hot leads; push for conversions. 3. Sales Coordination Coordinate between the sales team and customers for vehicle delivery schedules. Inform customers about offers, new model launches, and finance options. Support documentation for registration, insurance, and finance. 4. Post-Sales Support Conduct post-delivery calls to check customer satisfaction. Send service reminders (first, second, third, etc.). Collect feedback and ratings (Google, social media, showroom forms). 5. Customer Retention Manage customer loyalty programs and referral schemes. Notify customers about exchange events, service camps, or seasonal checkups. Handle renewal reminders for insurance and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). 6. Complaint Handling Receive and document complaints or dissatisfaction cases. Coordinate with the service team to resolve issues promptly. Follow up with customers to confirm resolution. 7. Data Management & Reporting Maintain updated customer records in the CRM software. Prepare daily/weekly reports on leads, follow-ups, conversions, and feedback. Analyze data to help improve showroom performance and customer satisfaction.
