As a Back-End Web Developer at SCOOL, you will play a crucial role in managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary responsibility will involve developing all server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Additionally, you will be tasked with integrating the front-end elements created by your colleagues into the application. Therefore, having a basic understanding of front-end technologies is essential for this role. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with around 2.5-3 years of relevant experience in software development. Your technical expertise should include advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Java, as well as a basic understanding of Design and Architectural patterns. It is crucial to have a good grasp of the HTTP(S) protocol and familiarity with common security issues in frontend applications such as XSS or CSRF. Moreover, you should have basic knowledge of cross-origin policies in modern browsers and be proficient in NodeJS, along with experience using tools/frameworks like NPM, Bower, Grunt, and Karma. In addition to your technical skills, you are expected to demonstrate thorough functional knowledge and coding experience, along with a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization. The ability to multitask under strict time constraints, budgets, and business objectives is essential for this role.
