Monks is looking for a Director - Strategic Planning to join our team to work with our existing and prospective clients in creating ground-breaking work and help define the strategic direction businesses should take in the digital space. Role & Responsibilities Understanding the context of a client and their business objectives and translating these objectives into a data driven strategic direction for the client Proactively developing marketing and communication strategies for new and existing clients. Translating data and research into valuable insights and analysis for Creative and Media teams that can be used to craft effective communications and inspired work. Provide strategy guidance and effective cross-channel recommendations as campaigns are developed, as well as guide and participate in the development of branded experiences and messaging. Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-market teams to ensure effective delivery of proposals and campaigns. Deepening our clients understanding of their markets and audiences through research and presentation of insight. Requirements 10+ years of experience in Marketing or a relevant field. Proven track record of producing great strategy work in a marketing business. Experience in utilising research and insights to generate creative briefs and marketing plans.
