To qualify for this role, you should have a master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science with 5-8 years of experience in machine learning-based data product research and development. Proficiency in tools and frameworks related to computer science, probability, statistics, learning theory, and deep learning fundamentals is required. Experience with statistical modeling techniques and deep learning models like CNN, RNN, Transformers, and GANs is necessary. You should also be proficient in Python and have hands-on experience in using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, and MxNet. Additional qualifications include the ability to design, develop, and optimize machine learning/deep learning models, knowledge of applying ML to earth observation data, and an appetite for research and implementing innovative solutions for complex problems.
