Credit Risk Management Analyst

As an Analyst in Credit Risk Management at PhonePe in Bengaluru, India, you will be part of the Risk Strategy team responsible for developing and optimizing fraud and credit risk strategies for the growing lending business. Your role will involve utilizing strong analytical, technical, and cross-functional collaboration skills to manage portfolio risk effectively and facilitate scalable lending solutions. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing risk strategies for fraud and credit risk in lending, constructing statistical risk models such as logistic regression and gradient boosting, analyzing portfolio data to manage risk and predict Expected Credit Loss (ECL), incorporating alternate data sources for enhanced risk assessments, collaborating with product and engineering teams to create anomaly detection tools, and continuously assessing and enhancing risk solutions. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.Tech/BE degree from Tier-I/II institutes, possess at least 12 years of experience in risk analytics, particularly in FinTech, demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Python, and MS Excel, exhibit experience with statistical modeling techniques, and showcase strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
