As an Asset Specialist at HSBC, your primary responsibility will be to identify new product opportunities within the assets business, particularly focusing on asset products such as Mortgage, PIL, LAS, LAM, etc. You will need to leverage your expertise in Mortgage and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of asset product applications sourced from Global Private Banking customers, open market, and DSA channels for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs). Your role will involve interaction with internal teams like Risk, Legal, and external partners like Builders and Societies to underwrite and negotiate complex credit opportunities for UHNW and Global Priority Clients/Family Offices. Your key responsibilities will include acquiring new business through Global Private Banking clients and open market channels, achieving sales targets, identifying suitable sales opportunities for clients, managing customer relationships effectively, and expanding the existing channel network for Global Private Banking. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and HSBC policies related to Sanctions and AML, as well as identifying and reporting any unusual activities to mitigate reputational risks. To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduate/Post Graduate (Masters)/MBA qualification with over ten years of work experience in the same domain. Demonstrating behaviours consistent with HSBC Values, adhering to controls and compliance, having market/product knowledge, and understanding the assets sourcing and disbursal process will be crucial for your success.
