You will be joining us as a makeup artist and working with the creative team. Your role will involve enhancing facial aesthetics through makeup and working with actors on movie sets, ensuring the makeup looks natural and well-applied under different lighting conditions. You will need to take lighting and setting into consideration when applying makeup, find suitable materials and colors, and collaborate with costume designers, set designers, and stylists to ensure consistency. Additionally, you will be responsible for hair styling in coordination with makeup, applying touchups as needed, and drawing designs for future looks as directed by the Creative Director. Your duties will also include purchasing cosmetics and applicators, negotiating prices with vendors, and staying updated on the latest beauty trends. You will use models and fashion magazines as references, understand character looks as per the film director's vision, and remove makeup after usage on film sets while consulting with clients/actors on skincare routines. To qualify for this role, you must have a degree/diploma in Makeup from a reputable academy or institute, proven experience as a makeup artist in fashion shows, individual events, or the entertainment industry, and a diverse cosmetic toolkit. A creative mindset, exceptional communication, listening skills, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.,
