Corporate Development - Financial Due Diligence Senior Analyst

You will be joining as a Senior Analyst in our team, collaborating closely with the FDD teams in Americas and Europe. Your primary responsibility will involve developing an Excel Databook that includes various schedules related to targets" profitability, balance sheet, and forecasts. You will conduct essential financial and operating analyses, participate in target meetings and round tables, and actively engage in negotiation calls with the Europe and Americas teams. Your role will also entail taking meeting minutes for diligence purposes, ensuring smooth transition post-merger integration, and supporting operational finance teams after closing. Key responsibilities include preparing and summarizing the M&A databook from diverse sources, evaluating the quality of the target company's earnings, operating metrics, debt, and net working capital. You will analyze historical and forecasted income statements and balance sheets, customer data, and KPIs. Additionally, attending meetings with the target company management, preparing closing balance sheets, and ensuring seamless transaction closure are crucial aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in professional services or consulting within a major accounting or financial firm. Prior experience in financial due diligence, especially supporting multiple projects, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI is preferred. An educational background in Finance or related fields, along with demonstrated financial and analytical skills, M&A experience, project management capabilities, and strong communication skills, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
