Conventional lathe operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Conventional Lathe Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating manual (non-CNC) lathes to produce precision metal components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and boring operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Measure and inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each job.
• Maintain and monitor machine operations for consistent performance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and production deadlines.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Record production data and report daily output.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
