We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications by designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execute test cases (manual), document results, and report defects using defect tracking tools. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely. Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes. Provide inputs for test automation strategies where applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3–4 years of experience in manual testing for web, mobile, and/or desktop applications. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Proficiency in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports. Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Familiarity with Agile methodologies Knowledge of SQL/ MongoDB for database validation. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Exposure to basic automation testing concepts and tools.
