The GDC SLM Senior Procurement Manager, as part of the GDC SLM Team, will be responsible for delivering critical supplier lifecycle management services across multiple categories such as Marketing or Professional Services. This role involves collaborating with procurement categories to manage supplier performance and identify commercial opportunities. With 10-15 years of relevant procurement experience in an operational/strategic role in supplier or vendor management, ideally in a procurement operation center, shared service center, captive center, or capability center, you should have worked with team members at all levels of an organization. Your demonstrated expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, cost model synthesis, and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements will be crucial. You should have experience in navigating organizational complexity, collaborating with multiple teams simultaneously, influencing without authority, handling escalations, and managing associated business impacts. Understanding and utilizing complex business processes in all supplier transactions, including risk, regulatory, and compliance aspects, will be essential. Proficiency in tools like Ariba SLM and a core procurement background across key capabilities such as negotiation skills, contracting skills, and strategic sourcing are required. Additionally, the role will involve implementing centralized global strategies or adapting global strategies for specific local needs. The ideal candidate should hold an MBA or equivalent CIPS or international qualification in Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
