Location: On-site (Kolkata) Experience: 1–2 years (Construction QA/QC Residential and Commercial preferred) Employment Type: Full-time About Contineu Contineu is an AI-native construction management platform that helps developers, contractors, and PMCs digitize and automate their QA/QC process. Quality engineers wear helmet-mounted 360° cameras to capture site walks, while Contineu’s proprietary AI models automatically detect and classify defects — generating NCRs and Observations across all stages of construction, from structural to finishing. By eliminating the need for manual defect logging, Contineu brings speed, accuracy, and transparency to quality management, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions. Role Overview We are looking for an Implementation Engineer with hands-on experience on construction sites, who will be responsible for conducting 360° site scans using our helmet-mounted camera system. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality capture and subsequent implementation operations for defect identification and AI-based analysis. The role involves visiting live project sites, coordinating with client QA/QC teams, and ensuring that all scans are done systematically as per Contineu’s standard operating procedures. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site 360° visual scans of active construction areas using Contineu’s capture devices. Ensure complete and accurate coverage of designated areas as per the defined scanning plan. Coordinate with site QA/QC teams, project heads, and subcontractors to schedule and conduct scans without disrupting site operations. Perform basic quality checks on captured footage before upload to ensure usable, high-quality data. Upload and organize scan data within Contineu’s platform. Maintain logs of all scanning activities , including date, site, area covered, and duration. Report any on-site challenges, access issues, or scan anomalies to the central QA/QC or product team. Support pilot projects and client demos when required. Additional Responsibilities Gather stage-wise activity information during site visits to ensure scans are aligned with ongoing construction progress. Understand developer-specific quality benchmarks — record what types of defects are checked or raised at each stage (structural, finishing, MEP, etc.) to ensure Contineu’s AI outputs align with client expectations. Study and document construction workflows and QA/QC processes of each client and share structured feedback with the product teams to improve detection accuracy and workflow design. Identify and flag new defect types not currently part of the Contineu detection taxonomy, by analyzing AI outputs and site observations. Collaborate with the QA/QC and data teams to validate AI-marked defects against real-site conditions and enhance model accuracy. Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience optional, but highly preferred in previous Construction Tech software field implementation related experience. 1–2 years of experience in construction QA/QC , site supervision , or related roles. Strong understanding of construction stages, defect types , and standard QA/QC processes. Ability to identify and record defects manually (civil/structural/finishing), optional but highly preferred. Comfortable working at active construction sites and traveling between project locations. Basic familiarity with digital tools , mobile apps, and data entry systems. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related fiel optional, but highly preferred. What You’ll Gain Opportunity to work at the intersection of construction and cutting-edge AI technology . Be part of a fast-growing startup transforming how quality is managed in construction. Exposure to India’s leading developers, PMCs, and contractors. Growth path into QA/QC tech operations and quality analytics roles. Compensation Competitive with industry standards. Travel and accommodation expenses for site visits will be covered by the company.
