Content Writer

Role Purpose:

The Content Writer will be responsible for developing content assets like Blogs, White Papers, Case Studies and Customer Success Stories, Sales Presentation, Collaterals and Webinar presentations. The individual should have minimum Professionals with 2-5 years of experience in research based content writing with excellent written and verbal communication along with analytical skills. The individual should also be good at secondary research to understand the market trends and come up with highly relevant content pieces. Preference will be for the individuals who have experience in Information Security domain and knowledge on SEO/SMM.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts leads for sales (including blog posts, e-books, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.)
• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content
• Ideate and draft content for sales collaterals such as brochures, competitive benchmarks, leaflets, handouts, product demos etc
• Contribute towards developing and executing the monthly content calendar
• Support PR team in drafting articles for publishing in the media, drafting press releases, press announcements, etc
• Translate product capabilities into simple, compelling messages that resonate with customers and build awareness
• Follow and implement best practices for content optimization such as using relevant keywords, etc
• Adapting and refining a brand voice to suit any situation or platform: Write and edit copy in line with our brand, tone of voice and brand style guidelines, and content strategies.
• Writing, editing, storyboarding and scripting, content for digital and print channels.
• Work and collaborate with the relevant people across departments to source information

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MBA in Marketing or Mass communication
• Preferred technical educational background
• Exposure to content writing for IT/Software products & solutions
• Certification in Digital Marketing
