Content Verifier / Fact-Checker

We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Content Verifier / Editorial Assistant / Fact-Checker to review our AI-generated content before it’s published. In this role you will verify the accuracy and authenticity of content and images, fact-check all claims, and suggest corrections as needed. This position is based in Bangalore and requires about 2–3 hours of work per day. The monthly compensation is ₹10,000/-

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Content Reviews: Examine ~5–6 AI-generated articles (and their accompanying images) each day. Confirm that all facts, figures, and claims are accurate by consulting reliable sources, and verify that images are appropriate and correctly referenced.
• Fact-Checking: Research and verify the accuracy of facts, data, and statistics using primary sources whenever possible. Confirm names, dates, and figures are correct, and flag any misleading or fabricated information.
• Editorial Review: Proofread text for grammar, spelling, and clarity. Correct any errors and suggest edits to improve readability and factual accuracy. Work with content creators to clarify unclear statements and ensure consistency of tone/style.
• Misinformation Mitigation: Act as a “second line of defense” by fact-checking all content to mitigate misinformation risks. If something seems doubtful or unverified, investigate and resolve discrepancies before publication.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with writers and editors. Provide constructive feedback and detail any corrections needed to maintain the content’s credibility and quality.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
