Content Speaker- Anime Manga & Webtoons

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Content & Culture Specialist with excellent English communication skills and deep knowledge of anime, manga, and webcomics — especially Korean webtoons. The ideal candidate lives and breathes visual storytelling, understands key trends in Japanese and Korean content, and can confidently identify popular titles, creators, and emerging themes in the space.

You’ll play a vital role in content evaluation, cultural analysis, localization support, and trend research across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify top-performing anime, manga, and webtoons (especially from Korea and Japanese )
• Evaluate the cultural impact and audience appeal of visual storytelling across platforms like Webtoon, Tapas, Manga Plus, etc.
• Assist with localization or content adaptation processes
• Collaborate with creative and editorial teams to ensure cultural relevance and authenticity
• Stay up to date with current trends, emerging creators, and popular series in the anime/manga/webcomic world

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English (native or near-native level)
• Deep knowledge of anime and manga history, genres, and key titles (both classic and modern)
• Familiarity with global webcomic platforms such as LINE Webtoon, Kakao Page, Lezhin, Tapas, etc.
• Passion for storytelling, pop culture, and creative media
• Ability to analyze content for cultural tone, themes, and audience engagement
• Bonus: Fluency or reading skills in Korean or Japanese

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in literature, media studies, digital publishing, or a related field
• Experience working with international content, entertainment media, or fandom spaces
• Writing samples, reviews, or a portfolio related to anime, manga, or webcomics

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
