We're BackedBy. We run the Amazon ads behind growing Kindle publishers.

Ads bring readers to a book. An audience brings them back for every book after it. We're now building that audience for publishers on YouTube and Instagram, and you'll lead it, starting with one publisher client.

The Role

You'll own audience growth for our first publisher client on YouTube and Instagram, with TikTok next. You own the numbers, not a to-do list: subscribers, watch time and email signups, tracked from day one.

This isn't a creator role. You won't be on camera or editing every video. You'll get great content made through the client's subject expert, videographers, freelancers and AI tools.

Leadership sets the direction and gives you guidance. The route is yours: what to test, what to double down on, what to kill.

What You'll do

What we'll make (you'll shape the mix as results come in):

• Animated and AI-assisted explainers that make hard topics click

• Lessons recorded with the client's subject expert

• Video series that teach the client's books, chapter by chapter

• Tips and news that keep readers coming back

Your week:

• Mine what readers search for and ask, and turn it into ideas

• Go deep on the subject, with the client's expert checking accuracy

• Brief videographers, animators and freelancers, and keep cost and timelines tight

• Review every piece, and send back anything that isn't good enough

• Run the publishing calendar across platforms

• Track the numbers every week

• Write up what each experiment taught us

Next: turn what works into a service for every publisher we work with, and build BackedBy's own channels to win new ones. Plus some ads support for other businesses in the group.

Who You Are

• Outcomes move you. A busy week means nothing if the numbers didn't move.

• You call it early. Most experiments fail. You'll spot it first, say so plainly, and know why.

• You're curious. You want to understand the subject, and the people trying to learn it.

Skills We Need

• An editor's eye: you know a strong hook from a weak one, and you'll say so

• Short-form copy that stops the scroll: hooks, captions and posts that get people to act, plus newsletters you can sharpen. Use AI if it helps; we judge the output

• A knack for making complex ideas simple

• Briefs so clear that freelancers never need to ask twice

• Hands-on experience growing a content channel or campaign, and reading what the analytics say

each platform's fine print, our internal systems, and how Amazon publishing works.

Bonus points for hands-on Meta ads, educational content, and a bench of freelancers you already trust.

How we hire

1. Apply. Send your CV and one piece of work, with the numbers it moved.

2. Paid test task (about an hour, from home). Sharpen an AI-written post, or turn a book chapter into briefs for three pieces of content.

3. Conversation. Walk us through one win and one miss.

4. Final round at our office. Review live client content with the client's subject expert.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
