Content Analyst - Transcripts

As a Content Analyst at LSEG, you will play a crucial role in the Refinitiv financial transcription group by producing and editing transcripts with high accuracy and quick turnaround time. Your responsibilities will include: - Producing and editing transcripts according to the transcription style manual - Auditing transcripts to ensure quality assurance - Testing and evaluating new production methods - Performing additional quality assurance tasks for transcripts and related features - Maintaining research databases - Assisting with operations and redline processes To excel in this role, you should have a strong command of the English language, including grammar and sentence structure. You must be able to pass an editing test, demonstrate attention to detail, and make independent judgment calls promptly. While a bachelor's degree is preferred, candidates with relevant work experience will also be considered. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in areas such as newspaper/magazine/online journalism, freelance writing/editing, English composition teaching, editing/proofreading, or court reporting/transcription work. Additionally, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Strong computer skills - Customer service skills - Familiarity with style guides - Good typing speed (~60WPM) - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Outlook - Ability to quickly learn new software, with Service Cloud experience being a plus - Knowledge of financial terminology is advantageous, but not essential At LSEG, we value innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
