You will be working at DORD Hospital, an 80-bedded facility located in Daudnagar, Aurangabad District, Bihar. The hospital specializes in Eye Care and has been serving the community for the past 12 years. Currently, the hospital is managed by 3 Resident Surgeons, 1 Resident Fellow, and supported by 50+ Optometrists, Nurses, and other staff members. The hospital conducts over 3,200 OPD consultations and 1,000 eye surgeries per month, with a track record of over 4,50,000 OPD consultations and 80,000 eye surgeries since its establishment. Your responsibilities will include performing OPD consultations and eye surgeries, providing continuous medical support to patients, participating in ward rounds, and carrying out various clinical procedures. The ideal candidate should hold an MBBS degree along with DNB / MD / MS in Ophthalmology, specializing in Phacoemulsification cataract surgery under topical anesthesia. Additionally, 1-4 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology, expertise in cataract surgery, and a strong grasp of modern eye care practices are desired. Freshers are also encouraged to apply as training will be provided. The role requires a minimum commitment of 2-3 years. The monthly salary is negotiable based on qualifications and skills, with food and residential facilities available on the premises.
