Job Description

Preferred candidate profile

MS / MD / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
from an recognized institution.
Mandatory valid registration with the State Medical Council / NMC.
0-4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a corporate or NABH-accredited environment.

Role & responsibilities

Clinical & Surgical Excellence

Obstetric Care:
Independently manage high-risk pregnancies, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and obstetric emergencies.
Gynaecological Procedures:
Expertise in major and minor surgeries, including Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal), Myomectomy, and Ovarian cystectomy.
Advanced Skills:
Preference for candidates skilled in
Laparoscopic Gynaecology
(TLH, Diagnostic Laparoscopy) and Hysteroscopy.
OPD & IPD Management:
Conduct specialized clinics (Antenatal, Infertility, Menopause) and oversee the care of admitted patients through dedicated ward rounds.
Documentation Standards:
Ensure 100% compliance with NABH documentation including:

Detailed
Initial Assessment
within defined timelines.
Use of
Partographs
for monitoring labor progress.
Comprehensive
Discharge Summaries
with clear follow-up instructions.

Quality Indicators:
Actively track and review departmental indicators such as
Cesarean Section Rates
(Robson Classification), Maternal Near-Miss events, and Neonatal outcomes.
Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure strict compliance with the
PC-PNDT Act
,
MTP Act
, and Consent protocols.
Informed Consent:
Maintain rigorous standards for obtaining informed, bilingual consent, specifically for high-risk procedures and sterilization.
Audit Participation:
Lead monthly Mortality & Morbidity (M&M) meetings and clinical audits to foster continuous quality improvement (CQI).
