Job Description

Consultant Gastroenterologist

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the liver, pancreas and biliary tract.
Perform
endoscopic procedures
: Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS.
Manage both
OPD
and
IPD patients
effectively.
Evaluate and treat
liver diseases
, IBD, GI cancers and other gastrointestinal disorders.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, oncology, radiology) for patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation (EMR/EHR).
Provide emergency GI care and support ICU cases as needed.
Participate in hospital quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Optionally, contribute to
academic activities
, case discussions and training programs.
