Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, and adrenal and pituitary disorders.
Conduct comprehensive history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of lab and imaging results.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Manage inpatient and outpatient endocrine cases.
Coordinate with other specialties (e.g., gynecology, neurology, and nephrology) for integrated care.
Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as thyroid scans, ultrasound (if trained), and dynamic endocrine testing.
Provide patient education regarding diet, lifestyle, medication adherence, and disease management.
Maintain accurate and updated medical records.
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuing medical education.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and hospital policies.

Preferred candidate profile

MBBS with MD (General Medicine) / DNB Medicine.
DM/DNB in Endocrinology from a recognized institution.
Valid medical registration.
Experience in managing both OPD and IP cases (freshers or experienced as per requirement).
