Hiring : Temporary Research & Information Analyst (3 - 6 months, with a potential to convert to full-time) The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore is looking for a professional Research & Information Analyst to support our team with high-quality research, data synthesis, and timely insights. Key Responsibilities : Monitoring local news outlets on regional developments in the six Indian states covered by the Consulate-General (i.e., Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha); Compiling synopses of major state news which includes political, business, and international developments; Identifying and analysing emerging and longer-term socio-political trends in the six states; Advising the political team on domestic political nuances; Attend and report on seminars and conferences (as required); Accompanying Consulate-General officials for meetings, and note taking (as required); Assist with compiling of daily media reports; Non-Official Translation of Hindi / Marathi / Gujarati speeches, documents, letters, or news articles to English (as required); Covering duties of the Political and Economic Executive, when necessary; Assist with the planning of Official Visits; Support the Consulate-Generals efforts during emergencies and crisis; and Any other duties assigned by the Consul-General Candidate Requirements : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with occasional extended hours when project deadlines require; Excellent written and spoken English (British English preferred); Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions; Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with care; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); and Calm and composed under pressure, with strong problem-solving ability.
