Job Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Head to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and strengthen our presence across direct and distributor business channels. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and manage a high-performing sales team, build strong customer and distributor relationships, and develop strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities : 1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share growth across direct and distributor channels. Set annual sales targets, KPIs, and budgets for regional teams and ensure their achievement. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. 2. Team Leadership and Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across regions, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and effectiveness. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team. 3. Direct Business Development: Identify and target high-value direct customers (EPCs, large enterprises, government projects, etc.). Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to establish SWIFT as a preferred material handling solution provider. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, service) to deliver tailored solutions for customers. 4. Distributor Business Management: Strengthen the distributor network by onboarding new partners and nurturing relationships with existing ones. Develop and implement incentive programs to drive distributor performance and loyalty. Ensure timely resolution of distributor issues, including pricing, product availability, and service support. 5. Revenue Growth and Profitability: Drive sustainable revenue growth by balancing volume and profitability across direct and distributor channels. Monitor pricing strategies to remain competitive while ensuring healthy margins. Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute campaigns that support sales efforts. 6. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and distributors to ensure repeat business and satisfaction. Act as a key point of contact for escalations and high-priority negotiations. Use customer insights to inform product development and service improvement initiatives. 7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to the leadership team. Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Implement data-driven decision-making to optimize sales processes and outcomes. 8. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with production, logistics, and service teams to ensure seamless order execution and delivery. Provide inputs for inventory planning based on sales forecasts. Collaborate with the marketing team to align branding, promotions, and lead generation activities with sales objectives. Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred). 10+ years of proven sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience managing both direct and distributor channels in the overhead material handling industry of EOT Cranes and Hoists. Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
