Role & responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Connex Switch Test Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, validating, and ensuring the performance and reliability of Connex switch systems. You will work closely with development, QA, and deployment teams to design and execute test plans that ensure our transaction switching infrastructure meets stringent reliability, performance, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for Connex switch systems. Execute manual and automated tests to validate switch functionality, interoperability, and performance. Perform system integration testing with associated network components, including routers, firewalls, and other switching elements. Test transactions from terminals (ATM/CDM/POS), scheme simulators and conduct certification testing Troubleshoot and document issues, working closely with developers and system architects to resolve defects. Maintain test documentation including results, logs, configurations, and version control. Collaborate with operations and customer support teams to replicate field issues and validate fixes. Preferred candidate profile Required Skills & Experience: 5-7 years of experience in card/payment switch testing, with a focus on card messages, ISO8583, EMV, ATMs CDMs and POS testing. Hands-on experience with Connex switches or platforms. Experience in scheme certification testing - MasterCard and VISA Knowledge of card issuing and acquiring - should have performed card issuing testing in previous experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Chennai Location only
