As the Electrical Draftsman Solar, your primary responsibility is to prepare accurate and detailed electrical drawings and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. You will be supporting the engineering team by developing various electrical documentation using CAD tools. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed electrical drawings for solar PV systems, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable layouts, routing, earthing/grounding layouts, lighting and power layouts, conduit/tray/trench routing. - Draft layouts for DC and AC systems, from modules to inverters, transformers, and grid interconnection points. - Update and revise drawings based on engineering inputs, site changes, or client feedback. - Prepare as-built drawings with inputs from site engineers. - Coordinate with civil and mechanical draftsmen to ensure proper integration of all disciplines. - Maintain drawing version control and ensure usage of the latest revisions. - Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs based on electrical layouts. - Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes such as IEC, IS, NEC. - Archive and organize all electrical drawings and documentation systematically.
