Job Description Computer Vision Engineer (5 to 9 Years Experience)

Job Title:

Job Summary

Computer Vision Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize computer vision and deep learning models for real-world applications.
Build solutions for object detection, image classification, segmentation, pose estimation, OCR, and video analytics.
Develop and deploy AI/ML models in production environments.
Work with large-scale image and video datasets for training and validation.
Implement model optimization techniques for edge, cloud, or embedded deployments.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
Research and evaluate emerging computer vision technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in
Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Machine Learning
.
Hands-on experience with
Deep Learning frameworks
such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Proficiency in
Python
programming.
Experience with
OpenCV
, NumPy, and scientific computing libraries.
Strong understanding of CNNs, Transfer Learning, Object Detection, and Segmentation techniques.
Experience with models such as
YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, Mask R-CNN, U-Net, Vision Transformers (ViT)
.
Knowledge of video analytics, image enhancement, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
Experience in data preprocessing, model training, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
.
Knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Generative AI, Multimodal AI, or Large Vision Models.
Exposure to Edge AI deployment using NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, ONNX, or OpenVINO.
Experience working with medical imaging, automotive, manufacturing, retail, or surveillance domains.
Knowledge of GPU acceleration and CUDA programming.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Robotics, Data Science, or a related field.
