As a member of the Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) team, you will be part of a group of over 2600 skilled engineers dedicated to various aspects such as tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Your primary responsibility will include the development of general IT applications, involving analysis, programming, and configuration of end-user applications and systems software. You will be tasked with analyzing detailed business, functional, and technical requirements and specifications for applications, as well as coding internally developed applications and configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. Additionally, you will be supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by rectifying programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements. This role requires an Experienced Professional (P2) who applies practical knowledge in the job area, typically acquired through advanced education and work experience. The position may necessitate working independently with general supervision, where encountered problems are challenging but not overly complex.
