We’re Putting Together a 3-Member Growth Team We’re an international freight forwarding company that wants to do things differently. Instead of chasing trade partners and agents, we’re building a lean team purely focused on growing our direct and indirect client base . We’re looking for 3 people to join us for a 2-month internship (with the potential to continue), working together as a team. What you’ll be doing (collectively): Market Research: Digging into sectors - apparels, sports goods, machinery, whatever is growing and building smart target lists. Sales & Client Acquisition: Reaching out (and how to reach out) to new exporters, understanding their requirements, and showing them what we can do for them. Communication: Maintaining conversations that build trust. Lead Generation: Not only through LinkedIn but smart tools, trade directories, and your own ideas to bring in fresh leads every week. Marketing Touch: Helping us ideate simple email campaigns, marketing posts, or WhatsApp pitches that actually get responses. Brainstorming: You’ll be expected to think, suggest, experiment, and figure out what works instead of waiting for instructions every minute. Data Organisation: Maintaining , organising - keeping every detail organised. Who this is for: Someone with fresh energy who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone or test new approaches. You could be a fresher or have 1 - 2 years’ experience in sales, client servicing, or anything related to business growth. Ideally, you’ve got a track record (even small) of helping grow something - a college project, a freelance hustle, a sales target you smashed. Job Role: Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding) Location: Kirti Nagar, New Delhi Type: Full-Time | On-site Experience: 2–4 years in freight forwarding business development and sales About the Role: We’re growing our international freight forwarding business by building a strong client base in India and developing reliable overseas agent partnerships. This role is for someone who understands how to get new clients on-board. You’ll work closely with leadership to develop proactive sales strategies, manage the pipeline, and help shape how our company wins new business, both locally and internationally. Responsibilities: Identify and target Indian exporters (SMEs and established brands). Build and strengthen relationships with overseas agents and partners to generate business. Conduct outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, and in-person meetings to pitch our freight solutions. Develop new trade lanes and opportunities with agent partners globally. Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations in coordination with operations. Track and report leads, progress, and key metrics regularly. Contribute ideas to improve our sales process, marketing materials, and client experience. Stay updated on freight trends, market rates, and competitor activities. What we are looking for in a candidate: 2–4 years of experience in client acquisition (freight forwarding industry), international logistics, or B2B export services. Experience working with both direct exporters and overseas agent networks is a strong advantage. Good understanding of Incoterms, customs processes, and export documentation. Confident communicator—both on calls and in meetings. Proactive mindset: you don’t wait to be told what to do. Organized and consistent with follow-ups. Proven track record of growing client base. As an Export Import Documentation Executive, you will be responsible for preparing and verifying various import and export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. It will be your duty to ensure that all documents are compliant with international trade regulations and meet client requirements. Additionally, you should have knowledge of shipping instructions filing, booking procedures, and DO release processes. You must be familiar with IGM, AMS (ISF), ENS, and EMANIFEST filing procedures.
