Collection Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Collection Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Collections, with a proven ability to manage customer accounts, ensure timely collections, resolve payment disputes, and maintain healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collection activities for customer accounts.
• Follow up with clients through calls, emails, and meetings to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing reports and prioritize overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Project, Sales, and Finance teams to resolve invoice-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments, and customer communications.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports, ageing analysis, and MIS.
• Monitor customer credit limits and support credit control activities.
• Escalate long-pending or high-risk accounts to the Finance Manager.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while achieving collection targets.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections, and Credit Control.
• Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience in invoice reconciliation, payment follow-up, and debtor management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF Functions, Filters, MIS Reporting).
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, or similar.
• Ability to work independently and meet collection targets within timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹9,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
