You will be joining Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a leading provider of inflight entertainment products such as movies, games, WiFi, and Bluetooth headphone connectivity. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Planning & Reporting: - Budgeting and forecasting business units" financials. - Evaluating financial metrics for deeper analysis. - Presenting monthly expenditures against plan and forecasts, providing recommendations for spending control and revenue acceleration. - Conducting financial and business-related analysis, including performance evaluation, depreciation, and investments. - Analyzing trends and variances in revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Financial Management: - Ensuring all journal entries are passed for month-end close. - Monitoring prepaid and provisions. - Adapting to market and economic conditions. - Assisting in process improvement initiatives and business metrics development. - Managing department finance independently while collaborating with HQ and other managers. - Developing concepts for general management improvement. Other Duties: - Supporting in SEZ/taxation compliances. - Serving as the first point of contact for finance issues. - Conducting ad hoc analysis as needed. - Encouraging continuous improvement and innovative thinking. - Participating in business unit meetings and finance conference calls. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. - Certification preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting. - Strong communication skills with various stakeholders. - Ability to resolve a range of issues using professional concepts and company policies. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of Oracle, Cognos planning, and reporting preferred.
