Job Brief: Cognos developer provides recommend solutions for optimized design techniques to build dashboards and reports using Cognos 11, Cognos Framework Manager Oracle SQL. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and deploy reports and dashboard solution using IBMs Cognos Analytics Understanding the Report Specification Documents and User Requirements. Write and optimize Oracle SQL statements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop and test plans to ensure a project successful delivery. Thorough understanding of Cognos Report Studio s features and functionality Understanding of Cognos architecture and performance tuning Build reporting solutions while adhering to data warehousing best practices. Address any production defects and handle any technical issues. Administer Cognos securities and in charge of user group maintenance. Should be a good team player. Experience: 3 - 8 Years Must Have Skills: IBM Cognos Analytics ( Report Studio, Framework Manager Cognos Administration skills). Strong proficiency with Oracle SQL and Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements. Good to Have Skills: Better to have any other BI experience likewise Jasper Studio or MS Power BI. Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.E
