Job Description

As a skilled and motivated CodeIgniter & WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining web applications and websites that are scalable, secure, and performance-driven. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining web applications using CodeIgniter framework. - Designing, customizing, and managing websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, and custom development). - Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL code. - Creating REST APIs and integrating third-party APIs into applications. - Implementing responsive UI/UX designs for cross-browser and mobile compatibility. - Debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues in existing projects. - Optimizing websites/applications for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. - Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. - Maintaining version control using Git/GitHub/Bitbucket. - Staying updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and security best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong exposure to CodeIgniter framework. - Strong expertise in WordPress theme & plugin development, customization, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX. - Experience with REST API development and integrations. - Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, and database management. - Knowledge of Git/version control workflows. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. - Excellent communication and time-management skills. Preferred skills that would be good to have include knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks, experience with WooCommerce, understanding of cloud hosting and deployment practices, familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS, and basic understanding of security best practices.
