As Drucks enters a critical product development and go-to-market phase, we are looking for a technical co-founder with deep expertise in 3D printing and material science to join us in building this category-defining venture. This is a founding-level position for someone who wants to build and own a scalable hardware-tech-enabled consumer brand. The ideal candidate will lead Drucks technology, prototyping, and manufacturing pipeline, bringing technical rigor and innovation into how footwear products are designed, printed, and scaled. We are seeking an individual who is not only technically strong but also entrepreneurial with the willingness to invest in the business and take ownership as a true co-founder. Key Responsibilities: - Lead R&D and product development for 3D-printed footwear focused on design and function. - Develop and refine proprietary printing processes tailored to footwear applications (soles, midsoles, uppers, etc.). - Oversee material selection and formulation, especially high-performance and sustainable materials suitable for wearables. - Build and test prototypes rapidly; validate mechanical and ergonomic performance. - Establish in-house or partner-based manufacturing capabilities for early production. - Work closely with the founding team to align technology with design, branding, and go-to-market plans. - Contribute capital and long-term commitment as a co-founder. Who You Are: - Experienced in 3D printing technologies, ideally with experience in wearables, consumer products, or footwear. - Strong understanding of material science, particularly polymers, foams, flexible composites, or bio-based materials. - Hands-on with CAD/CAM, printer tuning, slicing software, and mechanical testing. - Passionate about sustainability, performance design, and building products that make a difference. - Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and iteration. - Prior startup, R&D, or new product development experience preferred. - Willing to invest and take full accountability as a core co-founder.
