CNC VTL Operator

Job Title: CNC VTL OperatorJob Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) Operator to set up, operate, and maintain VTL machines to produce precision components as per drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC VTL machines to manufacture components as per specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Load and unload jobs safely using cranes or lifting tools
• Set tools, offsets, and perform basic program edits if required
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments
• Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Identify defects and report issues to supervisors
• Follow safety rules and company quality standards

Requirements / Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade (preferred)
• 1–5 years of experience as a CNC VTL Operator
• Good knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters
• Ability to handle heavy jobs and work in shifts
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / similar)
• Understanding of quality checks and inspection procedures

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹40,589.15 per month
