Cloud Specialist - ETL

As a candidate with 5+ years of IT experience and a good understanding of analytics tools, you should be able to lead teams effectively. You should have prior experience in production deployment and production support teams, along with expertise in Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Apache Beam, and Kafka. Your proficiency in object-oriented/scripting languages like Python, Java, C++, and Scala will be essential for this role. Additionally, experience with DW tools like BQ, Redshift, Synapse, or Snowflake, as well as ETL and Data Warehousing, is required. Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure is expected. Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow will be beneficial for this position. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Develop high-performance and scalable solutions using GCP for extracting, transforming, and loading big data. - Design and build production-grade data solutions from ingestion to consumption using Java/Python. - Design and optimize data models on the GCP cloud using GCP data stores like BigQuery. - Handle the deployment process efficiently. - Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost in large-scale data lakes. - Write complex, highly optimized queries across large data sets and create data processing layers. - Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to select the right tools for delivering product features through POC. - Act as a collaborative team player interacting with business stakeholders, BAs, and other Data/ML engineers. - Research new use cases for existing data. **Preferred:** - Awareness of Design Best practices for OLTP and OLAP Systems. - Involvement in team designing the DB and pipeline. - Exposure to load testing methodologies, debugging pipelines, and delta load handling. - Experience in heterogeneous migration projects.,
