Cloud Networking - Systems Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining AutoZone as a Cloud Network Engineer, where you will be responsible for planning and deploying the cloud network infrastructure. Your role will involve engaging in the lifecycle of services, building scalable designs, supporting network software and systems, participating in an on-call schedule, and deploying IP telephony and conferencing solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Engage in and improve the lifecycle of services, from inception to refinement. - Build reusable designs and systems to promote scale, reliability, security, and efficiency. - Support network software and systems as a technical subject matter expert. - Participate in an on-call schedule, providing third-tier support for complex issues. - Support the deployment and lifecycle of IP telephony and conferencing solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field preferred. - Minimum of 7 years of network engineering experience and 2-3 years of cloud network engineering experience required, with GCP experience being highly desirable. - Hands-on experience with cloud networking, core infrastructure/network services in the cloud, TerraForm, automation, and logging/monitoring is necessary. - Possession of Google Network certification is advantageous. - Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid data center technologies. - Proficiency in Cisco Networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, and Meraki APs, is desirable. - Understanding of Cisco Viptela SD-WAN and routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, TCP/IP, NAT, and security protocols like TACACS/RADIUS is important. - Experience with network management systems such as Solarwinds and NetQoS. - Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco-based networks. - Familiarity with using virtual machines in a VMWare ESX environment.
