As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III - Firewall at Insight, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise firewall solutions to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and deploying firewall architectures across multiple platforms like Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet to meet enterprise security requirements. - Managing enterprise routing and switching solutions and overseeing firewall rule sets, NAT policies, VPN configurations, and threat prevention features. - Monitoring and analyzing firewall logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly. - Conducting regular firewall audits, optimizing configurations for performance and compliance, and collaborating with various teams for secure connectivity. - Leading firewall upgrades, migrations, integration projects, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in firewall engineering or network security. - Expertise in Cisco ASA, Palo Alto NGFW, and Fortinet FortiGate platforms, along with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies. - Experience with centralized management tools, familiarity with IDS/IPS, threat intelligence, and SIEM integration. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications like CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE4/NSE5, experience in cloud firewall solutions, and knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation strategies.
