Cloud Infra

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure (Azure & AWS)

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments on Azure and AWS.

• Design secure and optimized cloud networking for both platforms, including Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.

• Configure and manage network security components such as Azure NSGs, AWS Security Groups, firewalls, and access control policies.

• Implement resource governance, tagging, IAM roles, policies, and identity access management across environments.

2. Kubernetes & Container Platforms

• Deploy, operate, and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or self-managed clusters).

• Manage Kubernetes cluster networking, ingress controllers, service meshes, RBAC, secrets, and workloads.

• Develop Helm charts, YAML manifests, and GitOps workflows for application deployment.

• Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar tools.

3. CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.

• Enable repeatable build and deployment workflows using IaC templates and DevOps best practices.

• Automate containerized application delivery and orchestration in Kubernetes environments.

4. Security, Networking & Governance

• Implement zero-trust security models and network segmentation for services across clouds.

• Design secure interconnectivity between on-premise systems and cloud environments using VPN, ExpressRoute, or Direct Connect.

• Manage NSGs, security groups, route tables, NACLs, WAFs, certificates, and secure-by-default configurations.

• Apply governance frameworks for multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance, auditing, and monitoring.

5. Reliability & Operations

• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization across cloud and Kubernetes platforms.

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, autoscaling, and observability solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex cloud networking, Kubernetes workloads, identity/authentication, and application issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-8+ years (adjustable) experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure and AWS cloud services.

• Deep understanding of VNet, VPC, NSG, and cloud networking fundamentals.

• Proficiency with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE optional).

• Experience with Terraform, GitOps tools, containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security.

• Ability to design secure, scalable, and operationally efficient cloud architectures.
