Cloud & FinOps Lead/Architect

You are a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud and FinOps professional with 12 to 15 years of experience, looking to join a team in Bangalore. Your role involves architecting and deploying AWS services, implementing financial management principles, and optimizing cloud costs. You will collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to implement and maintain FinOps best practices, ensuring efficient utilization of AWS resources and maximizing ROI. In this role, your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, optimizing cloud resources for performance and scalability, and implementing security best practices. You will also analyze cloud usage patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost-saving strategies, monitor and optimize cloud spending, develop financial models, collaborate with finance teams, and enforce cloud governance policies. To excel in this role, you need a strong understanding of AWS cloud platform services, pricing models, and cloud cost optimization tools and techniques. Knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Ideally, you should have 10-12 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Architect and FinOps Analyst/Lead, AWS certifications, experience with managing FinOps for multiple AWS accounts, and sound knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.
