Cloud Engineer, Hybrid Cloud Delivery and Operations

As a Hybrid Cloud Engineer at Astellas Pharma Inc. in Bangalore, India, you will play a critical role in leading infrastructure initiatives and serving as a Value Team Captain. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a Value Team Captain, coordinating delivery efforts across engineers, product owners, and architects. - Leading the design and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects spanning AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. - Establishing engineering standards and ensuring compliance with cloud governance frameworks. - Championing DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, and policy enforcement. - Serving as a technical escalation point for critical incidents and delivery blockers. - Leading knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing to internal enablement strategies. - Partnering with architects to shape technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategy. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - 6+ years of experience in hybrid cloud, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines. - Strong leadership skills and prior experience guiding Agile or cross-functional teams. - Expert-level experience with AWS and Azure architecture, automation, and security models. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with infrastructure as code processes and tools, cloud architecture certifications, multi-cloud implementation experience, and working in regulated or high-compliance environments.
