Cloud Data Science Engineer Senior

Role Overview: You will be part of the Data Analytics group at Qualcomm India Private Limited, responsible for developing automated solutions for big data pre-labelling, analysis, and visualization. Specifically, you will work within Team Enrichment to enhance data labelling from a global fleet and create analytic solutions to address various use cases. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to developing end-to-end data autolabelling pipelines and designing tools for scenario identification in the context of Autonomous Driving (AD). Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain comprehensive data autolabelling pipelines to support data analysis and visualization. - Design and implement toolchains for automated identification of critical scenarios. - Enhance existing frameworks for statistical scenario analysis related to AD safety aspects. - Apply creative problem-solving to design new modules for uncovering data insights. - Collaborate within a highly motivated, international team using SAFe as the primary Agile framework for coordination. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering with exposure to data science and/or data engineering. - Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Strong experience in writing clean, reusable Python code. - Understanding of software development processes including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills. - Knowledge of cloud-native tools, API gateways, serverless components, and IAC (CloudFormation, Terraform). - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Proficiency in big data tools such as Spark, Hive, Presto, Iceberg, notebooks, and dashboards. - Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Good To Have: - Experience in ADAS/Autonomous Driving sensor software development and testing.
