We are looking forward to hiring Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Professionals with 7 - 10 years of experience and SAP BTP exposure in the following areas: Understanding SAP BTP: A solid grasp of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including its core services like SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI/ML, and SAP Mobile Services. SAP Cloud Foundry: Understanding Cloud Foundry as the application runtime environment for developing cloud-native applications in SAP BTP. Core CAP Concepts: Understanding the key principles of the Cloud Application Programming Model, such as service definitions, entities, data models, service bindings, and business logic. Familiarity with CAP CDS (Core Data Services) for defining data models and CAP Node.js or CAP Java for implementing business logic. Ability to use CAP CLI (Command-Line Interface) for scaffolding, testing, and deploying applications. Programming Languages and Frameworks: Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js and Java for backend services development. Knowledge of OData and REST APIs for data consumption and exposure in CAP applications. SAP HANA Database and CDS (Core Data Services): Understanding SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BTP and CAP. Experience with CDS for modeling data, creating entities, views, and associations, and defining annotations for business logic, authorization, and UI capabilities. CAPM Upgrade and Migration: Leading and executing technical tasks related to upgrading existing CAPM applications, including analyzing current landscapes, identifying compatibility issues, adapting code for new versions, and ensuring smooth transitions. Experience in analyzing deprecations and changes in CAPM frameworks, refactoring code, migrating data and configurations, and performance tuning and optimization of upgraded applications.
