Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software and applications - Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions - Obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces - Have 7+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc. - Develop software with a focus on secure coding, software design, and implementation levels - Possess strong OS fundamentals with Linux and kernel development experience as a strong plus - Work with ARM architecture and have experience in BSP development - Develop low-level device drivers and boot code - Be familiar with modern OO design practices, such as C++11/17 - Utilize excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Be self-motivated and self-driven Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Preferred Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - 5+ years of experience with Database Management Software - 5+ years of experience with API - + year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System Please note that Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
