Cloud Admin

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure platforms to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for data protection.

Job Requirements :

• Responsibilities

  Design, and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions

  Provide expertise and support in network architecture and services, including Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups, DNS, VPN, Fast Connect etc.

  Management of user security permissions, IAM etc.

  Configuration and management of Cloud Backup Service, Object Storage, etc.

  Implementation of best security practices via cloud guard, WAF etc and compute instance patch management, access controls, and vulnerability management.

  Implementing and handling micro services architecture.

  Usage of Metrics explorer, logging analytics, audit logs and dashboards for monitoring, alerting and analysing metrics, events and logs.

  Integrate cloud systems with devOps processes, ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling.

  Manage and resolve customer escalated issues and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

  Handle high-pressure situations for outage resolution.

  Develop and maintain automation scripts, employing tools such as Shell, Python, or Perl to streamline cloud management tasks.

  Follow incident, problem, crisis, and change management protocols.

  Strong grasp of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Internet, and network topologies.

  Develop and maintain documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration details, and standard operational procedures.

  Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members and participate in technical knowledge sharing.

• Skills/Expertise

   

  Minimum 7 years of experience in managing Cloud platform environments (Azure/AWS/ GCP/OCI) of a large scale customer environment.

  Experience in leading migration from on premise to cloud.

  Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and security.

  Knowledge of best practices applied to the development lifecycle: Dev, Test, Prod.

  Proficiency in Linux/Windows OS.

  Good understanding of virtualisation platforms(VMware/KVM etc)

  Excellent leadership and customer service skills.

  Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
