You are a highly experienced and patient-centric Senior Physiotherapy Consulting Doctor being sought to join a multidisciplinary team at an advanced Physiotherapy, and Wellness Centre in Bandra (West), Mumbai. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, and designing personalized treatment plans for patients across orthopedic, physiotherapy, and general wellness domains. It is essential that you have extensive clinical expertise, excellent diagnostic skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Your responsibilities will include explaining diagnoses, procedures, and treatment options to patients, as well as providing preventive care advice to promote long-term wellness. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation experts, and wellness consultants to ensure integrated patient care. Additionally, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient history, treatment progress, and outcomes will be crucial. You are expected to mentor junior medical staff, provide second opinions, and contribute to the clinical development of the team. Developing, reviewing, and implementing clinical protocols, along with ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, is also part of your role. As a Junior Pathologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, your primary responsibility will be to analyze laboratory specimens to assist in diagnosing diseases. You will provide clinical consultations, ensure the maintenance of lab quality standards, and support research and training activities. Your hands-on experience in analyzing blood, tissue, and fluid samples, as well as working with laboratory equipment, will be crucial in carrying out your duties effectively. You will be based in Cuttack and should have at least 1 year of post-MD/DNB experience in a pathology laboratory, diagnostic center, or hospital setting. A basic understanding of Hemoglobinopathies, Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM), Newborn Screening, and rare disorders is essential for this role. Key responsibilities will include analyzing blood, fluid, and tissue samples to detect abnormalities, supervising processes related to sample collection, processing, testing, and reporting, and ensuring that lab operations adhere to ISO 15189:2022 Standards and other regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for laboratory technicians and junior staff, perform internal audits to assess compliance and performance, and participate in research projects while staying updated on diagnostic advancements. To be eligible for this position, you must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university and an MD/DNB in Pathology from an institution approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC). Preferred candidates will have additional certifications or training in clinical pathology, hemoglobinopathies, Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM), Newborn Screening, rare disorders, or laboratory quality management.
