Clinical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care within a dynamic hospital environment, specifically in a Level II trauma center. This position requires a blend of medical administrative support and hands-on patient service, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care during their medical journey.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care within the medical-surgical unit and operating room (OR).
• Provide support in various clinical tasks, including patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and documentation of medical history.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient services.
• Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and assist with coding for medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns regarding their care.
• Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing necessary paperwork.

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving patient care or medical administrative support.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience working in a Level II trauma center or similar high-acuity environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of coding practices related to hospital medicine will be beneficial for this role.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required to provide exceptional patient service and foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
