Job Description

Role Overview As a Client Adoption Specialist , you will accelerate the deployment of IBM's strategic offerings within client production environments. You will provide deep technical expertise, work directly with clients, collaborate with IBM account teams, and engage with IBM development labs to ensure successful implementation and adoption. Key Responsibilities Engage with clients to plan and execute implementation of strategic IBM offerings such as IBM Concert, watsonx Code Assistant for Z, and watsonx Assistant for Z. Collaborate with IBM account teams to ensure client sponsors and champions are actively involved. Validate client success by measuring key performance indicators after deployment. Provide product feedback and collaborate with IBM development teams for support. Core Objectives & Success Metrics Accelerate client adoption (measured by number of client adopters). Drive future growth (measured by number of case studies). Increase platform stickiness (measured by number of client references). Required Education Bachelor's Degree (required and preferred). Required Skills & Expertise Professional Skills: Strong communication Intellectual curiosity and continuous learning Ability to influence and collaborate effectively Strong organizational skills Timely execution with impact Proven track record of winning and competing Change agent mindset Technical Expertise: Operating system administration (Linux, Windows, zOS) TCP/IP network and LDAP administration APM solutions on IBM Z platform IBM CICS and/or IMS administration Enterprise COBOL development (read, write, troubleshoot) Java development (read, write, troubleshoot) Proficient experience with two or more of the following: OpenTelemetry (OTeL) Ansible Automation Platform Automation programming languages (REX, JCL, YAML) Working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models Conversational AI VS Code Interoperability of COBOL and Java within zOS subsystem (bonus) IBM Values Growth Minded Trusted Team Focused Courageous Resourceful Outcome-Focused
